Meet Kathleen✨
Kathleen was such a sweet and genuine person to work with during her session. Her session was actually taken during a time when I was testing out my camera after getting water in my lens, and even though I was nervous about how everything would turn out, her pictures ended up being so beautiful. The entire session had such a calm and natural feel to it, especially with the sunset over the lake and the dock scenery creating the prettiest glow.
Kathleen brought such a kind and positive energy to the shoot, and I’m so thankful she trusted me and was willing to do this session with me. Even from the beginning, she made everything feel comfortable and easygoing, which helped create such natural photos.
Now let’s get to know Kathleen a little more
Kathleen is currently a senior at Marietta High School. After high school, Kathleen plans on attending Georgia Institute of Technology to major in Business Administration. She’s incredibly motivated, hardworking, and excited for all the opportunities and experiences ahead of her in college.
About Kathleen’s Session
📸
Kathleen wanted to book a senior session because senior year is such an important milestone, and she wanted photos that truly reflected her personality and style. Her session had such a soft, natural, summer sunset vibe that matched her perfectly.
One of Kathleen’s favorite parts of the shoot was watching the sunset over the lake and enjoying the peaceful scenery throughout the session. She said everything felt calm, beautiful, and special while taking pictures.
Although Kathleen admitted she was a little nervous at first because she isn’t always in front of the camera, she said the session quickly started to feel natural and fun once we got going.
Her favorite photos from the gallery were the dock pictures, where she wore a white tube top and jeans. Between the lighting, scenery, and sunset tones, those images captured the dreamy summer feeling of the session perfectly.
When asked what advice she would give future seniors booking pictures, Kathleen said not to overthink things too much. She recommended choosing outfits and locations that genuinely feel like you because the best pictures usually come from natural moments.

☀️ Senior Year Memories

One of Kathleen’s favorite memories from senior year has been Friday night football games with friends, enjoying the school spirit, and making memories during such an exciting season of life.
If Kathleen had to describe herself in three words, she chose outgoing, motivated, and kind — which honestly fit her session and personality perfectly ✨
